Cacti occur in a wide range of shapes and sizes. Most cacti live in habitats subject to at least some drought. Many live in extremely dry environments, even being found in the Atacama Desert, one of the driest places on earth.

It is also recommended to water the cactus plant during the summer months and liquid feed once per month. Cactus plants love the wet/dry seasons, so in winter do not over feed or water the plant, in this case keep soil dry for better survival of the plant.
