Beaucarnea nolina - Pony Tail Plant -small

The "Beaucarnea nolina" or  "Pony Tail Plant" is a Mexican native and makes an excellent addition to any home with its sleek bulb-like trunk and long, lush curly leaves. 

Oddly enough, a ponytail palm tree is neither a palm nor a tree. In fact, it is a member of the Agave family and is actually a succulent.

It requires pretty low maintenance, making it ideal for any novice plant owners.

Care Instructions: 

• It likes a bright but indirectly bright spot.
• Its thick trunk stores moisture allowing it to tolerate drought so let the top inch or two of soil to dry out between waterings.
• Water significantly less in the winter months.
