The "Neobuxbaumia polylopha" or "Cone Cactus" is a columnar cactus with a solitary stem that grows up to 50ft tall!
The spines are bristle-like, turning grey as they age and its flowers are generally a vivid pink, dark red or magenta which bloom at night in the summer.
Like most cacti, the Cone Cactus is fairly low-maintenance and hardy.
Notes:This variety measures in at approximately 150-160cm in height. All large plants come with their plastic nursery pot only. Ceramic pots are sold separately.
Please note there is a 2-3 week lead time on large cacti.
Care Instructions
Avoid over-watering and water lightly only once top few inches have dried thoroughly.
Enjoys lots of bright indirect sunlight
Keep away from areas that experience sudden drops of temperature or frost in colder, winter months.
