DIY Kokedama Kit - 2x Plants

Kokedama is a style of Japanese bonsai in which a plant's root system is wrapped in moss and bound with string, transforming it into a living sculpture.

Loosely translated, koke means 'moss' and dama means 'ball'.

These hanging plants are a strikingly beautiful accent for any room at home.

This kit includes everything you will need to make two Kokedama Moss Balls. The Kokedama can be hung up or placed on a saucer.

Kit Includes:

  • 2x House Plants - Asparagus Fern and Indoor Ivy
  • Indoor House Plant Compost
  • Brown string for wrapping
  • Nylon Thread for wrapping
  • A layer of Irish moss

Care Instructions:

To water your kokedama you can dunk it into a bowl or sink full of water for a couple about a minute or until the soil is moistened through, every 2-3 weeks or so.

You can then leave it to dry on a saucer and hang it back up when it stops dripping.

You can spray your plants with water once weekly.
