Sansevieria trifasciata - Mother-in-Law's Tongue

Sansevieria trifasciata has wide strap-like, upright leaves that are green and stamped with wavy cross stripes in a lighter shading. This striping also gives it the name of "snake plant". All sansevieria are quite versatile, adaptable and easy to look after. This is a large specimen plant and great for a medium to high light location and will do well with minimal care. It is also known as a Mother-in-Law's Tongue or Snake Plant. Temperatures need to be kept above 10°C. It doesn't like too much direct sunlight, but a bright spot is ideal, turn the pot every other week for even light exposure to the plant. Let soil dry out significantly between watering, especially during the winter months.
