The Spider Plant (Clorophytum comosum) is a wonderful indoor plant and one of the most adaptable of houseplants and so easy to grow. This is why with total confidence I can say that barely a kitchen or bathroom in the whole country has escaped the acquaintance of this humble plant. The spider plant is so named because of its spider-like plants, or spiderettes, which dangle down from the mother plant like spiders on a web. They are abundant and giving and will grow in any any room of your home.. Two things to avoid are, too much sun or too much shade and one little requirement is to water once every two weeks. The humble little spider plant is one of 29 plants that NASA have brought to space, check out the NASA Clean Air Study https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NASA_Clean_Air_Study
