The "Monstera Deliciosa" also known as the "Swiss Cheese plant" is a tropical specimen that has aerial roots shooting downwards from the stem. These roots can hang, giving this plant a vine-like propensity.

The Swiss cheese plant gets its name from its big, heart-shaped leaves, which as it ages, grows with holes like Swiss cheese.
